- Annotation of genomic variants using online tools or databases.
2- Gene expression analysis
- Gene expression analysis using R.
- Association analysis with phenotype using R.
- Pathway annotation using online tools.
- Understanding Microarrays (concepts only).
Part 2
- Virtual Screening /in silico analysis Importance, and in-silico experiment definition.
- Data Repositories and Resources; TCGA.
- In-silico Identification of Immune Cells; HUSCH a scRNA-seq database.
- Data Integration and Visualization Tool; UCSC Genome Browser.
- Gene expression viewer and molecular signatures database, GSEA.
- Pathway and Network Analysis; PPI, PICKLE, Reactome Tool.
- The InnateDB database, SIGNOR.
- Functional Annotation Tool: DAVID, GO, KEGG, BioCarta, UniProtKb/SwissProt.
- Gene-Gene Interactions and Pathways, BioGRID.
- Transcriptomics Tool; Chemical-Protein Interaction Networks STITCH and Functional Enrichment; STRING and SMART.

10-15 hours to complete.
- Level: Basic introductory.
- Prerequisite: A biology background is required. A Computer Science background is preferred but not mandatory.
